o The world is always experiencing CHANGE – affects how
human beings live and think – practices, arrangements,
manners of thinking and feeling, etc.
o Social Science perspective on these changes that affect
human lives – culture’s evolution, social and political
change
o Lenses of Anthropology, Sociology and Political Science

Written works – 30%


Quizzes – 10%
2 Long Test – 20%
Performance Task – 40%
Individual Class Participation – 10%

Term Paper – 15%
Trimester Examination – 30%
Culminating Project – (Online) Advocacy Campaign
Classroom Rules

1. Attendance policy will be strictly implemented.


- 5 mins after the start of class = late
- 30 mins after start of class = absent
- 3 lates = ABSENT
- maximum of 5.5 absences = failure due to attendance (FDA)
2. No phones unless otherwise stated; no taking of pictures of the powerpoint,
phones cannot be used for note taking
3. No late submissions – late submissions WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED
4. Make up requirements will only be given upon the presentation of an approved
absence slip
