SAFETY RULES FOR VISITORS AND RECENT HIRES


Prior to YASREF Formal Safety Orientation (AGREEMENT)
EMERGENCY INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE YASREF

 During any Emergency Don’t Panic and be calm.


 Field workers should stop work immediately, turn-off all ignition sources such as vehicles, welding equipment,
grinders, sand blasters…etc.
Go immediately to nearest Assembly Area and wait for Instruction.
 Office employees must stop work immediately and follow posted evacuation routes to the nearest exit.
Go Immediately to Assembly Area and wait for Instruction.
 After the all clear alarm or all clear instructions are given, you may return to work.

FIRST AID
 You will be told where the clinics are located.
 In case of an accident, keep out of the accident area.
 The movement of the injured will be done by medical staff unless movement of injured is necessary for life
saving due to fire etc.

MEALS – SMOKING AREAS


 Specified dining areas are provided for meals. Food is not allowed in work areas.
 Rubbish must be placed in appropriate containers.
 Smoking is forbidden except in designated smoking shelters.

DRUGS AND ALCOHOL


 Alcoholic beverages and the use of illicit drugs are strictly forbidden in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
 Drug trafficking can lead to punishment by death.
 The use of alcohol can result in severe punishment and deportation.

PERSONAL PROTECTION EQUIPMENT


 Using safety glasses, reflective safety vests, hard hats and safety shoes are mandatory as a minimum
PPE requirement on the work site. Long sleeve shirts and full length pants are also required.
 Additional PPE is required for specific tasks. TRG supervision will inform you of these requirements.

MOBILE PHONES
 Using or possessing mobile phones in restricted areas is not allowed.
 The possession of cameras or camera telephones is forbidden except in camp areas.
 Do not use a mobile telephone while driving.

RISK AREAS – DANGEROUS ACTIVITIES


 You must first attend a visitor’s orientation. You must be accompanied by a member of TRG Staff and be
granted access to areas you intend to visit.
 You must strictly follow the traffic rules, safety rules, procedures and precautions indicated in each work
area.
 You must follow special precautions during bad weather. Avoid driving during low visibility conditions.
 Follow the instructions of TRG Staff and obey YERP procedures. If you don’t know, ask.
 All work and inspections performed on site must be pre authorized by YERP and TRG.
 A Work Permit must be issued prior to beginning any task. Follow the Work Permit Procedures.
