LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION

It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for Md. Tanvir Jamal Chowdhury, Senior Engineer
(Civil) at Strategic Projects Department of Bangladesh Steel Re-Rolling Mills Limited (BSRM). He was my
undergraduate student who conducted a project named as “A study on the Transport Properties and
Strength Behavior of Concrete in NaCl Environment” under my direct supervision, graduated from B.Sc
in Civil Engineering from Chittagong University of Engineering & Technology (CUET) securing 60.60%
marks and stood 50th out of 116 students according to merit.
Being his undergraduate course educator, I had the chance to observe him intently and constantly discovered
him unswerving, genuine, and assiduous. He was constantly excited to know the knowledge of different civil
engineering aspects. He ought to execute his thoughts and considerations appropriately and clearly supportive
for his exploration or professional territories.
I had offered a few courses like Design of Concrete Structure-I (CE-315), Design of Concrete Structure-II
(CE-318) to him. His work in class, examination & sessional courses was consistently completed on time.
Thus, I accept that he has solid information on important subjects of basic examination and plan.
Because of his understanding, genuineness, profound studying, enterprising nature, and ability to specific
mind, I accept that he can count on any legal responsibility in doing any creative research work that rendered
to him. He has notable enthusiasm for various engineering concepts and ingenious ability to comprehend,
analyze and assimilate the given task.
As a departmental teacher, I experience that his functionality in English language with respect to perusing,
composing, speaking, tuning in, and some distance attaining articulation is generally amazing in fact he has
proved his proficiency in English through IELTS. I figure out he might assume that it’s easy to train in English.
I take delivery of that his capability in English is sufficient to accomplish a higher degree in this language.
He’s mellow in nature and has remarkable individual. He can work freely or in a gathering under all situations,
have never received any complain against him. He’s eager on social sports and successfully participates in
several social tasks.
