Important Dates

Welcome back to all returning, and
new students! My name is Mme.
Roberts, and I am part of the grade
eight team here at QMS.
I will be creating a monthly
newsletter in order to keep all
parents informed about what is
going on in both our classroom and
school community. I will be posting
resources, assignments, calendars,
important dates, and any other
documents or news that is crucial to
maintaining a cohesive and inviting
classroom environment.
If there are any questions or
concerns throughout our year
together, please reach out to me by
email or through the school number.
I look forward to watching your
children grow through their last year
at QMS. I hope to make this year
memorable, while creating
relationships with not only the
students, but you, as parents and
guardians as well!

Reminders
Safe Arrivals Policy: A business card has been
sent home with your child/children. This is a new
program that we are introducing to the school this
year. If you need any further information, you can
visit the ASD-S website.
QMS Website: Please take the time to check out the
QMS website for our updated policies for the year,
including our cell phone policy, and the Attendance
Matters initiative. Don’t forget there is also a detailed
cafeteria menu provided on the website, along with
updates regarding our extracurricular activities.
Student Fees: Student fees ($25), can be paid
online with “cashless school”, found on the ASD-S
website.
Student Contract: The student contract is found on
the front pages of the student agendas. Please
make sure your child/children sign their student
contract and return it to the school.
QMS is a smoke, vape, and cannabis
free environment.
