researchers across different fields interfacing with
materials science and engineering the opportunity
to present their work with keen emphasis on the
potential industrial and technological applications.
Participants will be drawn from the academia and
industry, the traditional fields of engineering and
also from product designers and creative users of www.guc.edu.eg
materials, to share and discuss the functional value
of materials. The presented work may include mate-
rials which are yet untested under rigorous
engineering conditions but which based on
preliminary scientific data show promise of applica-
tion in specific industries or technologies. Finally it
is envisaged that this workshop will provide the
space to develop new research networks and
collaborate at the student project level (Bachelor,
Master and Doctorate) or at the principal
researcher level.
