through Art Therapy


Orientation
After being able to formally welcome the participants during the opening remarks, it is
now time to present the overview of the whole seminar-workshop, which is centered on
the theme self motivation through Art Therapy

Here the significance of self motivation will help the participants imagine the life they want.
They can empower and encourage themselves to face tough times and competition in life
with the help of self motivation. Further mechanism is to be discussed, as well as the
learning objectives of the seminar workshop. It is important for their existence that can
provide identity for themselves.

Participants are also to be guided in achieving a positive mindset for the said workshop,
telling them how to motivate oneself in achieving success.

Activity 1: EXPRESSING YOURSELF USING THE ART MATERIALS

Mechanics of the activity:

1. Each art materials will be distributed to the kids.


2. Allow them to draw whatever comes to their mind that contains a story. Make it
colorful as you want.
3. Each kids will be assigned with 1 or 2 therapist.
4. Therapist will be the one to process the drawing (they will start asking question:
what is the story behind the drawing, get the very small details of the drawing as
possible) you might find some traumatic experience of the child, abandonment
etc. by explaining her drawing.

Activity 2: “PUT YOUR SMILE”

Mechanics of the Activity:

In a White Cartolina all of them will draw a SMILE including the therapist and Social
Workers.

Objective: The cartolina will be posted or kept in the center.
