    Draft ADDENDUM & CORRIGENDUM SLIP No. 49 dated 26.12.2017


    Following the adoption of "seismic Code for Earthquake resistant design of
    Railway bridges", the existing clauses of the Bridge Rules for Seismic forces and effects
    needs to be replaced with clauses in line with the new Seismic Code.

    Accordingly, existing Clause 2.12 shall be completely deleted along with all of its
    sub cfauses from 2.12.1 to 2.12.12. A new clause as clause 2.12 shall be inserted as
    below.

    CIAUSE 2,12 - FORCES AND EFFECTS DUE TO EARTHQUAKE

    For Calculations of Seismic Forces and Earthduake resistant design provisions, refer to
    the ..Seismic Code for Earthquake resistant design of Railway Bridges".
