Reference to your advertisement regarding the position of Program Officer (Islamabad), I have the honor to offer my
candidacy for the above mentioned positions and contribute to NI Project goals and objectives to promote good quality program,
Implementation.

I hold my degree in Medicine from Tajikistan State Medical University, Dushanbe. Start my career with Save the Children-US in
1998. Meanwhile I had working in different position with various local and international organizations. I have managed both
Health & Nutrition projects in emergencies and have hands of experience managing mobile health clinics and as well as facility
level. During these tenures I was responsible for planning, implementation, monitoring & evaluation and budget expenditures &
management. I have hands on experience of coordinating/managing maternal, child health and reproductive health programs and
during this occupancy I have implemented several successful community based maternal and child health activities like
establishing Village Development Committees, Child-to-Child Education, Positive Deviants Program for (Malnutrition Children <5),
Emergency Transportation Fund and other activities associated with improvement of knowledge and behavior change in
communities.

The work experience with Save the Children was enriching in the sense that I acquired hands on experience of different project
cycle management process and performing both managerial and technical backstopping roles. I have designed and conducted
surveys to develop program around maternal and child health and reproductive health and School Feeding and House Hold
Agriculture Program and later implemented them with active community participation. I have extensive training background for
health care workers and for community members in Quality of Care and Community strengthening through Advocacy.

I was involved in donor liaison and have active role in compliance management like report writing etc. Being Office Manager, I
have acquired substantial experience of human resource management, administration & finance and other operations/support
functions. I am actively involved in representation and coordination roles with UN agencies, Ministry of Health/Education and
other INGOs.

While having a read of the Job Description of the advertised position I feel, I would be able to deliver on desired functions and I
have good cultural and political environment knowledge. Also that I have adaptive personality so I feel I would be able to adjust
into the new environment quickly.

I have attached my CV, which highlights my professional achievements and academic qualification. I am multi-lingual, have flair
to learn languages, have excellent computing skills. For having the matching skills and competencies I feel that I would stand
amongst strong contenders for the job and hoping to hear back positive.
