CAT® CONTROL PANELS

Electromechanical
EMCP II
EMCP II+
EMCP II+P
Switchgear Conversion
The Caterpillar family of control panels provides
basic to complete generator set monitoring.
Control panels use a standard mounting and
Common Design EMCP II wire harness and are easily upgraded to the
next higher specification. The Electronic
Modular Control Panels (EMCP II, EMCP II+,
and EMCP II+P) are compatible with a complete
line of local or remote annunciators, and with
remote communication and expansion modules.

PANEL DESCRIPTION
Electromechanical ELECTROMECHANICAL
This manual or auto start/stop electromechanical
panel, equipped with analog gauges, provides
basic generator set metering, engine monitoring
and protection, indicator lights, and emergency
stop shutdown. Optional protective and control
devices are available.

EMCP II, II+, AND II+P

EMCP II and EMCP II+ The EMCP II, II+ and II+P, equipped with high-tech
electronics and digital LCD readouts, provide
the most complete generator set monitoring,
metering, control, and indication. A full range
of optional protective devices, controls, and
local and remote annunciators are available.
The EMCP II, II+ or II+P may be used for remote
generator set monitoring and control via a direct
connection or modem. The EMCP II, II+ and
EMCP II+P II+P use environmentally sealed, solid state,
microprocessor-based modules.

SWITCHGEAR CONVERSION
The switchgear conversion (SGC) panel provides
basic engine monitoring, protection, and control.
It is equipped with a digital LCD display, electronic
gauges, and indicator lights. The panel is
designed to interface with switchgear or remote
mounted controls. Optional protection and
control devices are available.
