Observation and propsal

According to samples report from 300-C4 OVHD, we referred the column high pressure to the 90% NC5 in the OVHD stream.

So, a thorough study was performed and two corrective actions will be discussed below. We target to decrease the NC5 wt% to 85%.

Proposal # 1 By\ Ali Abdu-Elhaleem

Routing line 4”-P-300-2408 to 300-P6 suction line, we found the spectacle blind in open condition and we have double block valves
one of them is globe valve ( allow easy flow control) and close to FT-031 to control the total flow of 300-P10 through the increment
of the globe valve opening. The rated flow of 300-P10 is 70.5 m3/h, that will allow 4 to 5 m3/h transferred to 300-P6 suction.

Proposed action plan:

1- Decrease V3 level to 20% and switch FIC-024 (rundown) and FIC-023 (Reflux) to manual and maintain current opening.
2- Start routing from P10 to P6 suction till FIC-031 reach 70.5 m3/h. level of V3 will increase.
3- When V3 level become 70% increase FIC-024 opening and switch it to CAS mode to automatically maintain V3 level at
70%.
Proposal # 2 By\ M.I. Aboshall

Routing line 4”-P-300-1717 to 4”-P-300-2014 reverse flow to P6 discharge line. For the trial purpose, P6 discharge valve will be
throttled as much as possible so that the pressure downstream the discharge valve will allow the flow from P-300-2014 to P-300-2015.

And FV-024 upstream valve will be partially closed to allow maximum flow to be routed to P-300-2015.

For permanent use, we suggest to replace the breakup spool in P-300-2014 with a new one with 2” taping and connected to FV-023
(Reflux) downstream spool.
