SUEZ is a project to redefine and streamline KPN’s Oracle E-Business Suite business
processes. The goal of SUEZ is to reduce costs by identifying universal business
processes and use standard IT software to support those processes. Oracle R12 is
chosen as primary ERP system to support those business processes. The purpose of
test automation is to automate the test scenarios to create a comprehensive
regression test suite to make testing more effective, cheaper and reliable.
The purpose of automation is to create a Regression automation test suite for SUEZ
Oracle EBS application for 4 of the Identified Business Process streams i.e. Order to
Cash, Source to Pay, Invest to capitalize, Record to Report. The Regression test suite
comprises the system test scenarios for individual streams and end to end business
scenario flows from Integration test scenarios. The purpose is to automate the entire
set of regression test scenarios that are feasible to automate.
