travel alone. Which do you prefer? Use specific reasons and examples
to support your choice.

Travelling around the world is such an exciting experience whether alone or with
friends. However, I believe that traveling alone is more fun compared to traveling with a
companion. I believe this because travelers can make their own schedule, will not have to wait
on their companion, and can develop themselves socially.

To begin with, traveling alone means one can make his own program without having
to consult anyone else. For example, someone can wake up at the time he wants and plan his
day as he wants. Essentially, he can be spontaneous with his activities. Personally, I prefer
traveling to big cities where I can see more people and do more activities compared to small
cities. Being able to schedule one’s own program with his own preferences in mind is one
reason why I am of the opinion that traveling alone is better.

Moreover, travelling alone has the advantage of not waiting for someone else. For
instance, if someone is late for breakfast, then the whole group waits for him. This affects the
rest of the day, making all the plans delayed. This is significant because it means traveling
with a companion brings the problem of possibly not finishing all the activities that a tourist
would like to finish. Accordingly, traveling alone is more preferable to traveling in a group.

The last reason why I prefer solo travel is because it lets people discover new things
on their own. This is best seen when talking with other people who live in the destination city
as it makes people more social. When people become more social it helps them to
communicate with people easily without being shy. Ultimately, traveling alone supports
personal development which is a useful life skill.

In conclusion, there are several reasons that I have explained as to why I prefer
travelling alone. Therefore, I would recommend everybody travel alone and have personal
experiences around the world.
