But a number of DLs have returned undelivered, as the applicants had not entered correct/complete address in the application forms. Even the Postal Department couldn't contact them, as such applicants did not mention their mobile phone numbers in the application forms. Therefore, each DL applicant is requested to write complete address with pin code and mobile phone number while filling up the DL application form. After 01-08-2014, for undelivered DLs, due to wrong / incomplete postal address, the applicant would deposit required fees at concerned RTOs with proof of address for sending the DL again through post.
