DESIGN NARRATIVE

The Metatron’s Cube

Just as mathematics is the foundation of all science, a special kind of math is the
foundation of all metaphysics. Sacred geometry springs from the examination of
patterns and relationships found in nature. On the surface that may sound a little dry,
but when we look at how basic lines and curves come together to form the universe, it’s
like taking a wonderful look into the mind of creation. Because while all matter is made
from elements, it’s the patterns that gives matter form, purpose, and astounding
diversity.

I chose The Metatron’s Cube as my representation of what has all elements because I
find Sacred Geometry very interesting and the Metatron’s Cube is the highest of them
all. It contains every shape that exists in the universe God has created, and those
shapes are the building blocks of all physical matter. They are known as Platonic solids
because the philosopher Plato linked them to the spirit world of heaven and the
physical elements on Earth. Those three-dimensional shapes appear throughout
creation, in everything from crystals to human DNA. The cube is an image of God's
energy flowing through Metatron to all the many parts of creation, and Metatron works
hard to ensure that the energy flows in the proper balance so that all aspects of nature
will be in harmony, believers say. All the shapes we find within Metatron’s Cube are
Platonic Solids. Discovered by Plato, these are special shapes because they are all
perfectly regular and symmetrical. The Platonic Solids are all convex, all faces are
identical, all edges are identical, and all angles are identical, and the points all fit exactly
inside a sphere.
PART 2:

1. LINE STRAIGHT LINES - Represents

DIAGONAL LINES Masculinity
CURVE LINES - Diagonal lines
convey a feeling of
movement.
- Curve lines
represent
Femininity.

2. SHAPE / CIRCLES - The spheres

FORM TRIANGLES represents
SQUARE / Femininity
CUBE - The point-up
triangle represents a
strong foundation or
stability. It also
represents male
energy, and fire and
air are masculine
elements.
- The point-down
triangle can
represent female
energy, and water
and earth are
feminine elements.
When paired and
presented as point-
to-point, triangles
represent sexual
union and the
principle of
harmony.
- The square
represents cosmic
order and the
balance of
opposites.

3. TEXTURE SMOOTH - The usage of the

smooth texture is
for the
representation of
calmness and
relaxation, which is
the goal of the cube
despite the many
shapes and lines
since it represents
the harmony of all
creations.

4. COLOR RAINBOW - It represents

vibrancy, the aura
the cube gives since
it represents life and
everything in it
united as one and
as they say, can
transform negative
vibrations to positive
ones.

5. SPACE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE - The positive space

is the main focus of
a sketch and that is
the Metatron’s
Cube, while the
negative space is
the background of
the cube which
highlights and
compliments the
cube and it’s
meaning.

PART 3:
- Therefore, I conclude that the Metatron’s Cube has all the elements of design. By
the combination of all this, it showcased not just an artwork for the people to
gaze at because of its many lines and shape which may cause confusion but, a
deeper meaning behind each line, shape, form contained in each, which as a
whole, is the representation of life. The union and balance of all creations, male,
female and what not that roams our planet. That is why I chose this because of
it’s great meaning behind it and my huge interest in Sacred Geometry and the
Spiritual world in general, which I hope sparked a great interest as well to you
after reading this paper.
