Systems Engineering
Systems Engineering
Systems engineering is a branch of engineering that is responsible for the design, programming,
implementation, and maintenance of systems (a Collection of things that work together to
perform a useful purpose that none of them can do alone).
Unlike other specialties, this discipline doesn’t deal with physical products, but with logical
products. It’s an interdisciplinary science, which requires diverse knowledge to shape designs into
practical life.
The field of application of systems engineering is quite wide. It’s essential in areas such as health,
biology, economics or communication because most companies need information technology to
carry out their projects.
