At the end of 60-minute lesson, the pupils are expected to:

1. identify the different processes in the water cycle,
2. describe the changes happening in each process,
3. define water cycle,
4. draw an illustration of water cycle,
5. show proper conservation of water

II. Subject Matter

B. Review

C. Motivation
I will show a picture of a drop of water and I will ask them what they think of a drop
of water. Where it comes from and how does it form.
D. Introduction

Our lesson for today will be about water cycle and the processes involved in the
cycle.

E. Presentation
I will present a video-clip presentation to supplement the learning. Water Cycle is a
sequence of processes that the water undergoes as it moves from the ocean to the
atmosphere, from the atmosphere to the land, and from the land back to the ocean. It is
composed of three processes, evaporation or transpiration which is the transformation
of water from bodies of water and leaves of trees to water vapor, condensation which is
the transformation of water vapor into moisture and precipitation which is the
transformation of moisture into rain or snow.

F. Generalization
What is water cycle?
What are the processes involved in water cycle?
Define each process.

G. Application
I will instruct the class to illustrate their own interpretation of water cycle. Label
each processes with arrows to show how the processes take place.

H. Evaluation
I will ask them to bring out their quiz notebook.
Direction: Write the letter of the correct answer for the given questions.
Direction: Write a check mark if it shows conservation for water. If not, put an X
mark.

I. Assignment
Watch on your television or read in the newspaper the weather forecast for the
next day. Write what you have watched or read on a sheet of paper. Based on
tomorrows forecast, predict the weather forecast for the next two days too.
