This standard describes the mandatory Chrysler Group LLC Trademark Identification requirements for all
original equipment and replacement/service parts that are designed, manufactured and/or assembled by
or for Chrysler Group LLC and/or are subject to the Mopar Trademark Expansion Program Agreement
between Fiat Group Automobiles S.p.A. and Chrysler Group LLC. For the purposes of this standard,
“Chrysler Group LLC Trademark Identification” shall mean the “Pentastar” logo, the MOPAR word and/or
the MOPAR “Omega M” design trademark and the FCA logo. All parts must be marked with one of the
Chrysler Group LLC Trademarks listed above as set forth in further detail herein unless the part qualifies
for the exceptions listed in Section 1.5. The designation after the standard number on the Comment
Page or Part Information Page (PIP) specifies the trademarks that should be used on each part:

- A1 “Pentastar” Logo
- A2 the Mopar Word and “Omega M”
- A2A the Mopar Word Trademark
- A3 FCA Logo

end item assembly that are serviceable must also be trademarked.

Chrysler Group LLC Trademark Identification of all original equipment and replacement/service parts is
mandatory unless one or more of the following exceptions applies in which case one of the designations
listed in Table 1 will need to be added to the standard number after a space. The method of application is
the single digit designation after the standard number. (i.e., CS-11000 1). When CS-11000 is placed on a
PIP or Comment Page, there must be a space between CS-11000 and the designation to meet Q checker
requirements. When one of these exceptions is shown, no other designations are allowed.

Specific identification requirements are denoted by designations after the CS-11000 standard number.
Refer to Figure 1. Each of the designations describes a separate requirement. The last two denote the
size of the marking and the method of application. These designations are defined in Figure 2.

The responsible Chrysler Vehicle Engineering Department shall:

- Select the appropriate identification.

- Show any explanatory notes required.
- Include necessary locator views.
- Depict CS-11000 and the selected designations in the following order in the PIP or Comment Page:
• Item number
• Standard number
• A (single) space
• If using an Exception Designation in Section 1.5 to indicate why part identification is not required,
no others are needed. Refer to Table 1.
• Alphabetical designations for the logo used. Refer to Table 2.
• Dash and the Size of Pentastar. Refer to Table 3.
• The method of application. Refer to Table 4.
• If necessary, a (single) space and any special notations.
