ULTIMATE PROTECTION
Transtar Industries, Inc. provides this Limited Warranty on the above-identified remanufactured transmission purchased from and installed by an
authorized Installer in the United States. This Limited Warranty is solely and exclusively for the specific transmission installed in the vehicle listed above.
This Limited Warranty is transferable from the original retail purchaser, to legitimate subsequent owner(s) of the vehicle residing and operating such
vehicle within the United States; but, the warranty coverage date and mileage calculation begins from the date and mileage of the original installation
noted above.
Warranty Period: 36 months or [500,000] miles from original installation, whichever occurs first. For the avoidance of doubt, the warranty period does
not reset for transmissions repaired, transferred or replaced under this warranty. Such repaired, transferred and replaced transmissions are warranted
only to the extent of and for the term remaining on the original warranted transmission.
Warranty Coverage: Transtar will repair, replace or refund the original purchase price of the transmission, at Transtar’s sole option and discretion, if the
transmission is found to be defective in design, materials or workmanship, subject to the following terms, conditions and limitations:
This Warranty covers all eligible parts, fluid, limited towing (reimbursed up to $100), rental car and labor at Transtar approved labor rates ($95.00
an hour based on All Data Labor Guide), to a transmission lifetime maximum of $1000 (aggregate and inclusive). Any cost over and above
$1,000.00 is the responsibility of the vehicle owner.
This Warranty does not cover failure due to improper installation or repair, unauthorized disassembly, abuse, misuse, contamination, modification
of transmission and/or vehicle (beyond original design limits), lack of proper maintenance, neglect, accident, vandalism, overheating, use of vehicle
in competition, racing events, off-road, commercial, fleet or business purposes or other than originally intended or authorized, or any other
condition other than defect in design, materials or workmanship.
The transmission must undergo an initial Check-Up by the designated Installer within fifteen (15) days after installation, in order to keep this
Warranty in effect.
In some cases, a cooler replacement is mandatory for automatic transmissions. Please refer to the installation instructions included with the
transmission. Failure to follow installation instructions will void your warranty. Proof of purchase and installation of cooler may be required.
This Warranty does not cover parts or components that are replaced as part of normal maintenance, cosmetic, or parts or components related
to, but not part of, the transmission (including damage to the transmission that may be caused by those related parts or components).
To the extent allowed by law, damages are limited to the original purchase price. Loss of time or income, inconvenience, cost to return the
vehicle/transmission to the designated installer, storage, loss of use of the vehicle, fuel, telephone, travel, meals or lodging, commercial loss, injury
to person or property, damages to other related/unrelated parts, and incidental, special, punitive, liquidated and consequential damages are not
covered by this Warranty. Transmissions used in commercial application are not eligible for the Ultimate Warranty. Transmissions of the Saturn
CVT, Volkswagen Eurovan, Toyota U-660 E Transmissions and NV-5600 Series in Dodge Diesel applications are also specifically excluded from the
Ultimate/Premium Warranty Protection.
To Get Warranty Service: Take your vehicle back to the Installer listed above for the initial Check-Up and any subsequent service. Present the Installer
with this Warranty and the repair order showing proof of purchase of the transmission and the vehicle’s mileage at the time of installation. If distance
prevents the return to the Installer, contact the Transtar Customer Service Center at 877-526-6567.
Prior Approval Required: The Installer must call the Transtar Customer Service Center at 877-526-6567 for authorization prior to repairing or
replacing the transmission. Failure to obtain authorization will result in denial of claims.
THIS WARRANTY IS THE SOLE WARRANTY WITH RESPECT TO THE TRANSMISSION AND SUPERSEDES ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS
OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE. TO THE EXTENT THAT
APPLICABLE LAW PROHIBITS THE WAIVER OF THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR ANY PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
SUCH IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS WRITTEN LIMITED WARRANTY.
Failure by Transtar to exercise any right, or failure to enforce strict performance hereunder, shall not operate as a waiver thereof or preclude the exercise
of any other right; the rights and remedies reserved herein shall be cumulative and additional to all other rights and remedies available to Transtar in law
or equity. Transtar and its suppliers reserve the right to make changes in or additions to transmissions remanufactured for or sold by Transtar at any
time without incurring any obligation to make the same or similar changes or additions to transmissions previously remanufactured or sold. This Limited
Warranty is governed by the laws of the state in which the transmission was purchased.
