COMPENSATION POLICY FOR MEDICAL TRANSCRIPTIONISTS

PART-TIME LINES: All lines up to 7,500 lines will be considered as PART-TIME LINES and will be paid at the following Rates
Per Line (RPL) as per the quality grid below. No Fixed Component or Variable Components applicable for Full-Time Lines will
be applicable for a Part-Timer. Part-Time MTs are however eligible for Night Shift Allowance and Difficult Account Factor.

FULL-TIME LINES: All lines from 7,500 onwards will be considered as FULL-TIME LINES and will be paid as per the following
grid. The FULL-TIME components include the Fixed Component as well as Variable Components (Lines Above Slab
Minimum, Quality Incentive, and Longevity Bonus).

Lines Above Slab Minimum: Total transcribed lines for the month fall into one of the above MT Slabs. Every line that a Full
Timer transcribes on top of the lower limit of the slab (or the Lines Above Slab Minimum) will be paid at Rs. 0.70 per line .
For example, if an MT has transcribed 20,700 lines in a given month, he/she falls in the MT-20K Slab because he/she has
transcribed the 20,000 lines required for that slab, and for the 700 lines on top of the slab lower limit, he/she will be paid at
the rate of Rs. 0.70 per line (or Rs. 490) apart from the Fixed Compensation for the said slab.

Quality Incentive: The Quality Incentive (ONLY FOR FULL-TIME LINES) will be paid as per the Overall Percentage of Scored
Jobs. This incentive is applicable right from LINE ZERO as below:

Longevity Bonus: An additional Longevity Bonus (ONLY FOR FULL-TIME LINES) will be paid at the rate of Rs. 0.10 per line
once the MT has completed TWO YEARS as a Full-Time MT. The MT should have maintained Full-Timer Transcription Slabs
during this period with the organization, and he/she will be eligible for the Longevity Bonus from the month following the
anniversary of the date of joining. Further, upon completion of FIVE YEARS in the Full-Timer Capacity, the Longevity Bonus
will be paid out at the rate of Rs. 0.20 per line .
Night Shift Allowance: Night Shift Allowance will be paid at Rs. 0.25 per line . If the employee works staggered over the
night shift and the day shift, then a percentage will be decided upon (based on Manager recommendations) and that
percentage of work will be paid as per Night Shift RPLs.
Difficult Authors/Account Factor: MTs working on Difficult Authors/Accounts will additionally be paid for those lines at the
rate of Rs. 0.30 per line .

BAD QUALITY PARAMETER DEDUCTIONS:

1. Customer Complaints Deduction: Customer Complaints will be penalized at the rate of Rs. 500 per report . NO MORE
THAN THREE CUSTOMER COMPLAINTS IN ANY THREE CONSECUTIVE MONTHS . The MT will be removed from the account
and/or his/her ID may be deleted.

2. Critical & Major Errors Deduction: NO MORE THAN ONE CRITICAL ERROR AND THREE MAJOR ERRORS will be tolerated
PER 1000 LINES in any given month. For EVERY Critical Error above ONE, a deduction of Rs. 150 per error, and for EVERY
Major Error above THREE, a deduction of Rs. 100 per error WILL BE APPLIED. The MT will be removed from the account
and/or his/her ID may be deleted.
