On the reverse of your new debit card, you will find a grid. The cells in the grid will have select alphabets from A to P and numbers printed in them. When you initiate an online transfer of funds through Internet Banking, the system will instruct you to enter specified numbers from the grid for authentication and verification. Your online transaction will be processed only after you correctly enter the values as a ed. The debit card that you currently hold does not have this feature. The new grid card has been sent to you free of cost. The grid card can be used as your normal ATM/Debit card. The same PIN will apply for this card too. Please note that the old as well as the new card will be valid. Hence, for reasons of security, we advise you to destroy your old card by cutting it into four and to discard pieces. Your new card will be activated when you use it at our ATM/IVR for the first time.
