LIST OF GAMES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE GUIDELINES

WAR OF BAGANI

RULES AND MECHANICS:

 Single Round Robin elimination type


 Each team shall be composed of eight (8) players (4 males and 4 females).
 Each round is composed of two (2) teams to compete.
 Each team must pull the rope until the competed team passes the respected line
to be a winner.
 Winners in every round will gain +__ pts.

KADANG-KADANG

GAME MECHANICS:

 Single elimination type


 Each team shall be composed of five (5) players.
 Every player from the starting line must use the kadang to walk through the
turning point back to the starting line.
 The first player must relay to the next player until all the players of the team have
participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 In case a player falls from the kadang, the player must go back to the starting line
and continue the race.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

MANGASO TA

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of three (3) players.


 Every player will be given three (3) attempts to hit the target.
 1st player must hit the target until all the players of the team have participated.
 The team that will garner the highest number of points per target will be the
winner.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

PINOY HENYO

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of two (2) players.


 One player must guess the word and the other player must confirm the accuracy
of the guessed answer. The latter’s confirmation is through using the following
terms: “Oo”, “Hindi”, and “Pwede”. The 2 players shall then switch places once
they finished guessing the correct answer.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

LIMBO WAR

GAME MECHANICS:

 Single elimination type


 Each team shall be composed of five (5) players
 Every player from the starting line must use the kadang to walk through the
turning point back to the starting line.
 1st player must relay to the next player until all the players of the team have
participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 In case a player falls from the kadang, the player must go back to the starting line
and continue the race.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

SHORTEST LINE

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of five (5) players

BASAGAN NG PALAYOK

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall send one (1) representative to participate in the game.
 Every player will attempt to hit and break the palayok with the use of a kawayan
and must wear a blindfold while playing the game.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

TALONG AND EGG CHALLENGE

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of five (5) players


 Every player from the starting line must use the talong girded around the hips to
pass the egg placed on the ground towards the spot of the next player until all
the players of the team have participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

HANAPIN MO ANG PISO

GAME MECHANICS:

 Single elimination type


 Each team shall be composed of five (5) players
 Every player from the starting line must use the kadang to walk through the
turning point back to the starting line.
 1st player must relay to the next player until all the players of the team have
participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 In case a player falls from the kadang, the player must go back to the starting line
and continue the race.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.

TRIP TO JERUSALEM

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of _ players


 All the players shall go round about the

participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 In case a player falls from the kadang, the player must go back to the starting line
and continue the race.

CHINESE GARTER

GAME MECHANICS:

 Single Elimination
 Players are divided into four (4) teams, with a minimum number of five (5)
members per team.
 During the game, two (2) members of the “it” team shall serve as “game posts”
as they stand opposite each other and hold each end of the garter.
 The objective of the game then is to be able to successfully jump over the garter
as it is gradually held higher by the game posts.
 The person who can’t successfully jump over the garter will be eliminated.

The Chinese Garter game is usually subdivided into ten levels. Most of the time,
however, the players may decide for their desired number of levels for their game.

Level 1 – The garter is being held by the posts closer to the ground.

Level 2 – Knee high

Level 3 – Around the height of their hips

Level 4 – Waist high

Level 5 – Chest high

Level 6 – Shoulder high

Level 7 – Head high

Level 8 – At the tip of the head

Level 9 – A few inches above the head

Level 10 – Also known as the Father / Mother Jump, as high as a kid raising his
arms high on tip toes.

BROKEN BRIDGE

GAME MECHANICS:

 Single elimination type


 Each team shall be composed of 5 players
 Every player from the starting line must use the kadang to walk through the
turning point back to the starting line.
 1st player must relay to the next player until all the players of the team have
participated.
 The team that will finish earlier than the other teams will be the winner.
 In case a player falls from the kadang, the player must go back to the starting line
and continue the race.
 The winning team will gain +__ pts.
TAKYAN

GAME MECHANICS:

 Each team shall be composed of 5-6 members.


 Organizations who will participate on this game will automatically have +__ pts.
 The winners of the first round have +__ pts and will compete for the
championship round.
 The champion will get +__ pts.

RULES:

 The takyan must be tossed up using the elbow five (5) times and kicked five (5)
times.
 If ever the player did not perform the preceding rule, his/her teammates will
perform twice.
 (tub-sanay ni nga game)
 The other team (abal) can kick back the takyan in every performed player so that
they can perform.
 The team having all their players able to complete the task will earn additional
points.
 The team who will be able to earn 3 points will be the winner for the 1st round

JUMPING ROPE

RULES AND MECHANICS:

 Single Elimination
 Each team shall be composed of six (6) players (2 players holding the rope, 4
players inside the rope.)
 The first player must jump as high as they can pass the rope without touching it.
One by one, the other players will enter the rotating rope till all the four (4)
players are inside.
 Every team (all 4 players inside the rope) complete the round without touching
the rope gains +__ points.
 The first team to gain __ consecutive points without stopping will be the winner
and shall proceed to the next round. In the event that the players touch the rope,
all score will return to zero.
