Its difficult to pilfer the seat lock on scooters (difficult mind you, not impossible) but the risk is higher with scooters with easy under fairing acess. So get a scooter

which doesn't have much easily accessible space under the rear fairing. My suggestion, go for hero maestro. I have personal experience with this scooter of 1 year
and 2months odd and it doesn't break down easily and returns an fe of 48-50kmpl in the city.
The dream Yuga will have great fe (friend is getting about 75kmpl with harsh riding) but your problem of fuel pilfering will be greatly increased. Go for glamour fi to
eradicate the problem all together. No fi bike I know off has an exposed fuel line or petrol cork.

Pilfering the seat lock is hard,on most scooters I've noticed a black tube coming from a small black box, to the engine. The box is on the left side
above the engine. Is that tube the fuel line?

Set 0.14mm for both inlet and exhaust valves. Go some few pages back on this thread. you will find detailed owners manual.

no, that is not the fuel pipe. that is a vent pipe. the other end of it is open and goes in the air filter box on the older activa's dio's..
close your eyes and get the dream yuga and put on a petcock lock (which minimizes the risk of theft). the yuga's fuel eco will be more pocket friendly to your needs.

I found one for Vespa125 though.

nope, i dont. but i remember posting a parts manual of the dio (uk model, called the scv lead) on this thread. 99% of parts are same except for the carb/airfilter.

This can be used a reference for sourcing parts/service. It can be downloaded from Dio-102cc.pdf

Also they are not giving the delivery without basic accessories
Which are about Rs. 1911
But that's the situation in every showroom here

Do they come with mrf tubeless too ? I thought tvs tubeless was the only option. And i do not think they are bad. Don't expect miracles from the mrf's in the wet. On
dry roads, i havent seen much of a difference between ceat and mrf.. and i have driven my cousins activa with tvs tubeless.. i did not find anything wrong with it.
Honda considers the number plates, side stand and the floor mat as accessories. Apart from this, if they are forcing you to pay up for stuff like the all round
body/crash guard ,'teflon' coating, seat covers etc.. they give them a firm NO and do write to Honda on their email or thru their website.

It's the problems with tvs tires that are making me think otherwise

Just head over to Pulsar 200ns thread and see the phrases like 'euroslips'...

My friend got a warped tyre from showroom on his Pulsar150

I don't know if they are giving mrf also

Maybe the showroom wanted sometime to check

When I bought my pulsar I was given options for both tyres

Having used mrf for about 4 years I can vouch for it

Yes the accessories were basic like sidestand etc ...

Actually I was biased towards aviator but the seat height was higher than activa...
It could be a problem for the women in our family
So had to book activa

Honda's combi brake is very good so I'll compromise on tvs tubeless if mrf is not available
Can anyone who has recently bought one verify the same ...?
