GROUP NARRATIVE

We the Grade 12 ABM student from Concepcion Integrated School

Secondary Level, had completed a total of Eighty Hours (80) of practicum
with On The Job Training in Barangay Tumana, Marikina City from Dec 16,
2018 to Jan 27, 2019.

As we start our immersion we felt so excited because we will have a

new experience in this work immersion and Caintoy, Llamzon, Bernadit,
Navales, Espanueva, Pante and Torres are assigned us to be an encoder
of Patubig Department. In that moment we realized to ourselves that we
don’t have any idea how to encode all of bills in front of us, but we need
to be prove that we are flexible, industrious in work and versatile in any
kind of circumstances. And we need to show them our best to make them
amazed.

During our training days, we often practiced ourselves to wake-up

early in the morning just to be on-time and until now we maintain it until
the end and we are beyond proud to ourselves because of that. And
every in line with this we always accomplished all of the paper bills, we
also experienced to printing the stickers stubs, lift up all of the things that
give away in that Christmas season; And lastly, we would like to mention
the most unforgettable and most tiring activities, which happen in the Ilaw
Cover Court in Tumana, such as getting, giving a toys to all of kids, we
have also parade and dancing, Then, at the end of the day, we will give
ourselves enough time to rest to get ready for the next tiring day.
A tiring yet enjoyable day, Enjoyable because we knew these are
the works that we help us in the near future. And we hope it may come
true. As time went by, we learned to value intimacy and be respectful to
others together with co-trainees and superiors. We learned to handle our
own responsibilities as well as encoding to our department, we also
observed proper time management and act with speed and urgency.

We will not forget this experience in work immersion mostly in the last
day, which is January 27 2019, Yes it is the day we end our work immersion
we feel so sad because of relationship that we already build with them,
but that day we totally developed and improved our personality, skills
and capabilities
INDIVIDUAL NARRATIVE

When I heard about our immersion, I felt excited and at the same
time intimidated. I am excited since we are going to have a new
environment at the same time a new experience that can help us in our
future, and intimidated because I’m not really into socializing with other
people.

When the day comes at first I thought it would be hard to socialize

and to close to them but I was wrong because they are all really nice,
and about our work in our department at first it was hard to adjust but as
time goes by I used to it. Our work is not really easy since our department
only have 1 computer so that when other need to use computer or printer
our work was interrupted, I also want to share that we packed all the gifts
that prepare for paraffle in the Christmas Party in Barangay and I am glad
to help them in a smallest thing. Lastly my greatest experience was when
the fiesta in tumana , it was really tiring since we need to parade together
with the barangay officials but also fun because we encounter so many
people and have fun with them.

My experience in our work immersion has a great impact to my life,

it gives me new experience at the same time memories. What I have
learned in our work immersion is that try new things in your life if you failed
don’t give up but continue to pursue it and have a great experience.
