1. This is a household product, or small production facility. The main purpose of the product is to
monitor and control the electrical use of electrical equipment.
SUMMARY 2. A handy compact product that is easy to install and use to monitor and manage household power
(background, benefits) usage as well as small production. Especially with high flexibility products can be used remotely,
without geographic problems. This device is also an IoT product that helps users monitor the history
of opening or closing as well as the parameters of the power source over time.

SCOPE
Build a device that can control the electric power in family usages or small faculities through smart

The device measures the values of voltage, current, power,… then sends the data and display on

We spend 1 week on surveying , 2 weeks on designing and building the product, last 1 week on

Hien and Oanh prepared and carried out the survey. Bach, Hoang and Khoa designed and built the

device. Tuan tested the product.

There was a face-to-face meeting with the attendance of all team members to discuss about the

process of the project every weekend. Besides, online activities like social media were also used
every day for daily work checking.

All the components on the device can be easily bought at any electrical equipment store in the city.
PROCUREMENT
The price was not so expensive therefore we could handle that without problems.
 Firsly, we have some difficulties on setting up a suitable amount of time for the project due to the
strict schedule we have had on the university. Besides, some of the team members had different
schedule so we had a hard time finding the right moment that every members could gather

Some sensity electrical equipment can easily terminate the whole system by a very little mistake
such as adding a wrong amount of voltage and putting the power source in the inaccurate direction.

The device is controled by an app that can simply be downloaded in the Appstore or Chplay.
The user interface of the app is so simple that users can get use to it without problems.

Yes, it just need to be plugged in any socket and ready to use. Of course with the 220V AC power in
VietNam.

Just only with the smartphone, users can take over the whole electrical system in their house even
when they are far from home. For example, user can observe what equipment is plugged in the
device and decide whether turn it off or not

The device cost way way cheaper than a medium-range smartphone. Therfore, every one or
specifically every member in the family can simply have one to control their own electrical
equipment.

In the user interface there are several variables such as voltage, current, power and diagram for
users to manage the device efficiently. These variables can be navigated by switch in the display.
It is obviously safety with the user who are aware of the danger of electricity. We require the
customers at least 7 years old to use it completely without problems.

Many people spend most of the day outside the house for job so they feel anxious about what can
happen in their home when they are away, especially with the family having kids. With this device
users are no longer sufferd by that anxiety, they have full authority to control the electrical device in
their home. For example, parents or superviors can take over the activities of their children at home,
to see whether the kids are watching too much TV or not.

We’re always listening to community feedback and value what customers are telling us. Throughout
the first sold shipment, the community helped steer the direction of development multiple times to
make the device the best it can be.
 As important as the feedback, the number of sold products tell us many things about the selling
process including the quality of the products, the way it is advertised and how much customers need
to use our product.

The device is made out of common eletrical components with the materials plastic and copper.
