1.) WHAT IS PHYSICAL FITNESS?
Dalleck (2019), said that physical fitness is the capacity of the heart,
blood, vessels, lungs, and muscled to function at optimum efficiency. It is
the body’s ability to function efficiently and effectively in work and leisure
activities. Maintaining physical fitness can also help prevent some
diseases.
A. FLEXIBILITY
= According to Minka (n/a), flexibility is the ability of the
joints to move through their full range of motion.
B. CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE
= This is the ability of your heart, blood vessels, lungs and
blood to deliver oxygen and nutrients to all of your body’s
cells while you are being physically active.
C. MUSCULAR STRENGTH
= In a given contraction, muscular strength is the amount of
force that a muscle can apply.
D. MUSCULAR ENDURANCE
= This is the ability of the muscled to keep working over a
period of time.
E. BODY COMPOSITION
= Body composition is important to consider for health and
managing your weight.
F. AGILITY
= This is the ability to control the movement of your body.
G. BALANCE
= This is the ability to keep an upright posture while either
standing still, or moving.
H. POWER
= This is the ability to perform with strength at rapid pace.
I. REACTION TIME
= The amount of time it takes to start a movement.
J. COORDINATION
= is the integration of eye, hand, and foot movements.
K. SPEED
= The ability to cover a distance in a short amount of time.
A. FLEXIBILITY
= Stretching
B. CARDIORESPIRATORY ENDURANCE
= Swimming, cycling, and walking
C. MUSCULAR STRENGTH
= Weightlifting
L. MUSCULAR ENDURANCE
= Anaerobic activities
M. BODY COMPOSITION
= Eat healthier
N. AGILITY
= Different kind of drills
O. BALANCE
= Skating, gymnastics, skiing, surfing
P. POWER
= Swimming, football, shot-put, high jumps
Q. REACTION TIME
= Ping pong or karate
R. COORDINATION
= Baseball, basketball, golf, tennis, softball
S. SPEED
= Running
