Semi Detailed Lesson Plan in Science 7
Semi Detailed Lesson Plan in Science 7
I. LEARNING COMPETENCY
A. Content Standard
The learners demonstrate an understanding of organisms interacting
with each other and with their
environment to survive.
B. Performance Standard
The learners should be able to conduct a collaborative action to
preserve the ecosystem in the
locality.
C. Objectives
At the end of 50-minute period, 75% of the students should be able to:
a. define an ecosystem;
b. differentiate biotic from abiotic components of an ecosystem; and
c. describe the different interaction among organism found in an
ecosystem.

Guide Questions:
1. In your own words, what is an ecosystem?
2. Point out the biotic components that are present in the
semantic web.
3. What about those abiotic components?
4. How do biotic and abiotic components interact each other?
5. If there is no sunlight and water, can anything grow or
survive? Why?
