Course Name: 21st CENTURY LITERATURE FROM THE PHILIPPINES AND THE WORLD

Course Learning Outcomes: Understand and appreciate literary texts in various genres across national literature and
cultures.

Lesson Learning Objectives: At the end of the lesson, the grade 12 students are expected to:
a. explain the texts in terms of literary elements, genres, and traditions;
b. construct a free-verse poem which depicts hardships being a student; and,
c. express appreciation to the aesthetic value of the poem by reading their poem in front
of the class.
