(Wa) The material is relevant and the content well developed. A wide variety of vocabulary is well chosen for the purpose/text type, e.g. powerful verbs, some imagery etc The relevant language features are used for the text type. Writing is interesting and engaging with lots of detail. Text Structure and Organisation 7 (Wt) There is a clear structure with well organised content within the paragraphs. Chronological or logical links between paragraphs to develop ideas. The use of devices throughout such as connectives is achieved. Sentence structure and 7 punctuation (Wp) The use of complex sentences, e.g. using a wide range of connectives, e.g. although, meanwhile etc. Grammar is almost always accurate throughout the text. Punctuation is used accurately for sentences and speech. Commas are always used in lists and usually to mark clauses. Spelling 3 Spelling is generally correct througout. Correct spelling of most, not all, polysyllabic words, e.g. appear, information, making, possible, probably, wondering, search etc.
