Outsourcing in business:

Until 1988 the outsourcing was not considered as a strategy for performing business. In rare cases
the company outsourced such facilities for which they had no internal capability. The baseline
that was used by outsourcing to flourish was the usage of external contractor (third party) for
providing the internal system of the company with the important but supporting services. The
next step of the outsourcing included outsourcing support services. The functions of the
company that were important to the company but were not so essential and had no relation to
the core business were outsourced for keeping under focus the measures that were regarded
as cost saving measures in 1990s. the evolution of the strategic partnership provided a basis for
the development of the services linked to outsourcing. The delivering of the accounting
services, human resources, processing of the company’s data, the distribution of the mail,
maintenance of the plant of the factory and the security of the organization are the key factors
that were evolved by using outsourcing. In 1990s the prime purpose of outsourcing was
referred to as the planning of the better strategy. Today an organization keeps it focus more on
planning the outsourcing through strategic planning and thus focuses less on the ownership.
