    Hydra Capsule completed a project involving the synchronized jacking and installation of grout bags on the A14 Huntingdon Bridge viaduct. They designed and manufactured 84 hydraulic jacks linked to a computerized system to precisely lift and apply pre-loads to the bridge. Once the defined loads and displacements were achieved, grout bags were installed and inflated to wedge gaps before loads were transferred to new elastomeric bearings. The work strengthened the deteriorating half joints on the central span of the bridge which carries significant traffic on the A14 highway.
