We have reviewed the company profile & credentlals of the above mentioned proposed
sources and it has been observed that the above sources are one of the Oiiginat
producers who manufacture billets directly from iron ores and roll the billehs
to proiuce
steel conforming to IS: 1786-2008
It has also been noted that the above sources except Electrotherm India Limited are
listed as the Major cteel Producer/ Leading Steel Producers by the Ministry of Steel. We
have also reviewed the test results of urC test certificates lor recendt mlnufactured
produ-ct for the five sources except Electrotherm India Limited and founi
to conform to
specifications of the project.

In view of the above, we are communicating our consent for procuring HYSD TMT bars
(Fe 500 D Grade) conforming to IS:1786-2008 from the following souices to use in the
project.
1) SteelAuthority of India Limited (SAIL)
2) Rashtriya Ispat Nigam Limited (RINL)
3) JSW Steel Limited (JSW)
4) Electrosteel Steels Limited
5) Jindaf Steel & Power Limited (JSPL)
The reinforcement steel shall be procured from the storage depots of the said approved
sources only and not from their authorized agents / dealers,
Please ensure that all quality control tests are carried out to comply with IS:f786-2008
and MORTH specifications prior to using the reinforcement material from the above
sources in the project works and the test reports from rnanufacturer and third party
NABL accredited Independent Laboratories after witnessing by the IE shall also be
submitted for our review and comments if any,
It is further requested that every lot shall be tested on random sampling in NABL
accredited Independent Laboratories to verify the results with MTC and Specifications.
It is also requested to ensure proper stacking of steel at the site to comply with
specification requirements without any lapse.
The company profiles & credentials of 1) M/s Electrotherm (India) Ltd., Ahmedabad are
under review of the IE and comments / observations would be communicated soon,
