GARDENING REPORT

I. OBJECTIVE
Planting green and red plants to decorate the school wall, recycling of plastic, observe the
growth of plants, and planting more plants for the use of oxygen.

II. MATERIALS
 8 plastic bottles (1500 ml)  fertilizer
 7 green plants  shovel
 3 red plants  sand
 loam soil  chicken wire

III. PROCEDURE
A. POT PREPARATION
1. Prepare 8 waste plastic bottles in 1500 ml.
2. Cut the bottle into two then cut the front of the bottle in a rectangular form, leaving
a hood-like shape in the back.
3. Poke holes on the sides and the bottom of the bottle so that water could get
through.
4. Poke 2 more holes on the hood part of the pot, about 2 cm apart for the chicken
wire.

B. SOIL PREPARATION
1. Prepare loam soil, fertilizer, and sand.
2. Mix the fertilizer and the sand with the loam soil.
3. Make sure to mix it properly until it is smooth and completely mixed.

C. PLANTING
1. Prepare 7 green plants and 3 red plants.
2. Put the mixed soil into ¾ of the pot.
3. Dig into the middle and put the plant.
4. Put the other ¼ of soil into the pot.
5. Water the plant, not too much and not too little.
6. Poke holes in the soil for cultivating.
7. Put the chicken wire in to the two holes and make a shape where it can hang.
8. Hang the plants on the wall and paint it up green.

VI. GENERALIZATION
We had to plant green and red plants to decorate the school wall, recycling of plastic,
observe the growth of plants, and planting more plants for the use of oxygen. First we make
the pot from recycled materials. Them, we put the plants in the pot, hang the pots on the
wall, and water it regularly. We also decorated the pot to make it look nice for our
gardening observation. We learnt about the growth of plants and how to take care of them.
