My name is Yaakov Mayman, I’m a world famous sax player. I have

performed and recorded with such Jazz greats, as Randy Brecker, Mike
Stern, Joe Lovano, Benny Golson, Avishai Cohen, Valery
Ponomarev, Lenny White, Jerome Jennings. I have performed in such
venues, as Birdland, Blue Note, Smalls, Apollo Theater, Carnegie Hall,
55Bar, Smoke, Le-Club and festivals, such as JVC Jazz Festival,Made In
NY Jazz Festival, Red Sea Jazz Festival, Moscow International Jazz
Festival, Heineken Jazz Festival, NY Latin Jazz Festival, Massachusetts Jazz
Festival and Connecticut Jazz Festival. I’m also one of the founders of
international jazz competition called Made in Jazz (NYC).

I met Marina in Boston in Spring 2019. We had a show together with the
world famous pianist Leonid Ptashka, and she was our special guest.
Both Leonid and me were fascinated by her voice, improvising skills and
stage presence. Her performance was amazing, I remember the
audience screaming out her name and asking yet for another encore. At
that moment the only question I had in my mind was: why I didn’t know
her before?

Since then we’ve had quite a few shows together. People love Marina’s
energy and always ask when is her next performance. I’m planning to
invite Marina to perform with us in a few well-known NYC jazz venues
and Festivals in 2020. I’m sure her tour schedule will become pretty
busy soon.

her success on the US and worldwide music scene. She definitely has a
