Industrial Visit: Nipra Packing Pvt. Ltd.

Introduction:
On 29th Jan 2019 we went to silvassa to visit Nipra packing private limited.
Nipra Packaging Private Limited is a Private incorporated on 19 April 1985. It is
classified as Non-government Company and is registered at Registrar of
Companies, Mumbai. Its authorized share capital is Rs. 100,000,000 and its
paid up capital is Rs. 84,000,000. It is involved in Manufacture of structural
metal products, tanks, reservoirs and steam generators. Directors of Nipra
Packaging Private Limited are Rajesh Umraomal Jain, Ritesh Umraomal Jain.

This visit was regarding different manufacturing processes involved in the


manufacturing of product out of metal.

This visit was arranged by Prem Joshi Sir and supervised by Prashant Sir and
other faculty.

The purpose of my visit:


1. To observe the various processes to require producing plastic items.
2. To observes different types of moldings.
3. To observe different types of bending and welding of metals.
4. To learn the functioning of machines used in the manufacturing.
5. To get hands on experience on machines used.
6. To bridge the gap between theoretical training and practical learning in a
real-life environment.
7. To provide opportunity for active/interactive learning experiences in-
class as well outside the classroom environment.
8. To better identify their prospective areas of work in the overall
organizational function.
9. To help enhance interpersonal skills and communication techniques.
10. To become more aware of industry practices and regulations during
industry visits.
11. To broaden the outlook with exposure to different workforces from
different industries.

Outcomes of my visit:
Industry visits sensitize us to the practical challenges that organizations face in
the technical world. Industrial visits also gave us greater clarity about various
technical concepts. It provided us an opportunity to learn practically through
interaction, working methods and employment practices. It gave us a practical
perspective on the world of work.

2. Understood the input and output for different processes.
3. Experienced the importance of working safely.
4. Understood the concept of injection & blow moulding, spot & seam
welding and bending of metal sheets.
5. Understood how does the product of the plant interfaced to the world.
