Good morning, Brothers and Sisters of Christ.

We are gathered together today for our Mass of

the Holy Spirit

The celebration of the Holy Eucharist is offered as a thanksgiving offering to welcome the day
and the people. Like a family celebrating the gift of life and endowed also to a prayer for a grace-
filled year. As we celebrate this Holy Eucharist, let us ask the Holy Spirit
to be our guide so that we may recognize that the presence of Jesus in our lives is the antidote to
fear and to be the source of strength in doing our role of building God’s kingdom here in our
community.
