Report to project QC Manager at site
Implementation & monitoring of project Quality Plan requirements and assure compliance
Periodic review of PQP for its adequacy and updating the same
Generate new work procedures or record forms at site for any additional activities identified/as required
Prepare update & maintain site Document Master List & verify with HO
Implementation and monitoring ,revision if necessary .of all contract specific procedures .work

Control Quality documents and maintain distribution list
Co-ordination with company and sub –contractors
Supervision of inspection carried out by Inspectors and NDE Technicians

Piping
Reviewing vendor drawings & documents, checking piping layouts & inter discipline drawings/
documents.
Preparing the weld mapping of isometric drawings and dimension and material check of
computed spools.
Identifying the material (pipes, flanges, fittings, etc) As per the material take off list and
isometric drawings during the fabrication.
Preparing the inspection request prior to accept the construction piping / welding work,
pressure testing g and releasing of fabricated pipe lines in order to prepare certification for the
completed items.
Monitoring and inspecting the fit up, root run and all subsequent passes for pipe joints with
dimension and orientation during fabrication of spool in fabrication shops.
Welding
Monitoring welder performance and conduct visual inspections of welds and repairs of welds in
accordance with company procedure and international codes of practice.
Checking, inspecting and testing incoming welding and construction materials to ensure they
meet project specification requirements.
Managing the construction process from all aspects to ensure performance meets job quality in
accordance with company procedure and international standard.
Coordinating with clients to undertake Procedure Qualification Test (PQT) and inspect of
prepared test specimen and witness destructive test.
Identifying Welding Procedure Specification (WPS) and PQR for job as per project specification
and verify Welders meet PQR requirements.
Collating all relevant documentation for the job and apply for the data to the creation of a Test
Pack to undertake pre-hydro test inspection activity.
Conducting fit up and dimension inspection as per Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and provides
technical guidance for welding sequence and distortion control.
Reviewing final Packages for Hydro-Tests, approving & releasing for Hydro-Test.
Formulating Isometric Control Sheet as per piping index sheet (Hydrostatic Test Package).
Reviewing Manifold Certificate, Pressure Gauges and Relief Valve during Hydro Test.
Controlling non-conformance reports and undertaking remedial action.
Coordinate ,supervise the WPS/PQR and Welders Qualification tests and Prepare necessary
Welding Inspection before, during and after welding
Monitoring the NDT offer as per Specifications and maintaining the register
Punch list and Check list Clearing
Ensure the preparation of the Quality Mechanical works dossier for final handover to the Client
Must comply with the company/client safety standard
Working with ASME Sections 2/5/9,ASME B31.3
ONGC SPEC,EIL SPEC,ASME B16.5,B16.9,B16.28,B16.19
Material Identification (Traceability) Checking of pipe, piping components grade, schedule, size,
rating as per the isometric drawing requirement shall be done
Physical condition of the base material to be verified
Report the findings and give dispositions, ie. Accepted, Rework or Reject
