Procedures for Out-of-Class Testing Center that Every Student Should Know
1. Please know your instructor’s name and the name of your class.

2. A picture ID must be presented to receive a test.

3. Cell phones and other electronic devices including personal headsets, certain calculators, or computerized

watches are considered unauthorized aids, and cheating is assumed if these devices are handled or viewed

while testing. Testers may not utilize these devices.

4. Do not bring these devices to the Testing Center unless you have a purse or book bag.

5. A designated area in the Testing Center is provided for purses, book bags, books, coats, and notebooks.

6. Upon entering the Testing Center, testers will sign in while the test proctor examines your picture ID.

7. Calculators will be inspected and reset prior to testing.

8. Be prepared at this time to shut off and put away unauthorized electronic devices and to leave other materials

and possessions in the designated area.

9. The test proctor will seat you. Please note the specific directions provided by your instructor on the first page of

the test. Instructors may allow certain testing aids or none at all.

10. Testers may not leave the Testing Center once the test is issued without surrendering the test. The Test Proctors

will not re-issue the test without written consent from your instructor.

11. A Test Irregularity Report will be created if any of the following situations arise:

a. a cheat sheet is discovered before or while testing.

b. an unauthorized aid including a cell phone, headset, certain calculator, computerized watch, or

other electronic device is handled or viewed during testing.

c. information is discovered on skin or clothing.

d. the tester leaves the Testing Center after viewing the test but before completion.

e. the test proctor’s instructions are ignored.

12. The Test Irregularity Report will be attached to your completed test. This report will be reviewed by your

instructor and/or other college officials.

13. Testers can lose the privilege of using of the Out-of-Class Testing Center if these policies are ignored.
