Connected and not Alone

The fast-growing world has reached almost what it looked for. Every nation in the globe
has clearly established connections which we thought before as a great impossibility.
Technologies range from the simplest to the most comlicated ones gave the best connection we
really want, but how can we be possible that we are connected with everyone and do not be left
behind?
Basically, it’s how we perceive communication. Communication is also being in a speech
situation. The speech situation globally is very competetitive. To compete globally, we need to
be eloquent in using the language, the language we use in connecting to the world – English.
Filipinos once deemed to be one of best English speakers. We had also one of the best Call Center
Agents serving native English-speakers. Those native English speakers barely know that we are
not native English speakers. This is the manifestation that we are globally connected to the world.
This makes us not to be alone in this world that values more about connections and
communication. We can now say that we are completely globalized by the skills in using the
English language. And to be connected is to be globalized. We could say we are connected and
not alone.
