W- Watch: Be watchful. Examine all things carefully.

An important Biblical principle is to test

and examine all things carefully, holding fast to what is good (1 Thes. 5:21). Whether you are
examining your actions or motives, you must weigh whether your actions and motives are
godly and righteous. Being watchful means you must have the right actions and motives.
Jerimiah 12:3 reminds us that God examines your inner heart and motivation, not your
outward religiosity or actions.

O- Obey: Obedience leads to peace. Philippians 2:8: And being found in appearance as a man,
He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.
The reason that many who once knew and loved the Savior are now in darkness, wandering far
from Him, is because in self-confidence and self-sufficiency they have followed their own
inclinations. They walked not in the way of the Lord – the only way of peace and happiness. By
obedience you will go forward in God’s strength.

R- Respect: Respect leads to a harmonious society. We all need to respect people of different
races as well as people of different faiths and religion. According respect can make the key
difference in the direction of conflict. Respect is the first positive step in building a relationship
and relationships are central to conflict transformation. 1 Peter 2:17; “Show proper respect to
everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor. “

L- Love: Ellen G white says God is love, and His law is love. Its two great principles are love to
God and love to man. Love works neither for profit nor reward; yet God has ordained that
great gain shall be the certain result of every labor of love. “One day we will realize that big
hearts will bring us more peace than big weapons.” John 13: 34-35, “A new command I give
you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone
will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

D- Discipline: Romans 13:5 “Submit to the authorities, not only because of possible
punishment but also as a matter of conscience.” Discipline is one of the most valuable lessons
offered via education. While it does not constitute a subject, it underlines the whole educational
structure. It is training that develops self-control, character, orderliness, efficiency, and the
ability to properly cope with the responsibilities of adult life. It is the key to good conduct and
proper consideration for other people
P- Patience: If we desire peace, we must also desire patience. Patience and peace go hand in
hand. If you have peace, you have patience, if you have patience, then you have peace. Jesus
came to give us peace, not as the world gives though (John 14:27). He came to give us peace
within our hearts and minds. Because He knew that “world peace” starts in the hearts of men,
in the minds of men.

E- Encourage: Encourage one another and build each other up. Proverbs 16:7 says “When a
man’s ways please the Lord, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him.” Ellen White
says, those who are fighting the battle of life at great odds may be refreshed and strengthened
and encouraged by little attentions which cost nothing. Kindly words simply spoken, little
attentions simply bestowed, will sweep away the clouds of temptation which gather over the
horizon of the soul.

A –Agreement: Colossians 4:15. "And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the
which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful." According To Ellen G. White,
self-reflective perspective taking involves the understanding that individuals are aware
of each other’s perspective and that this awareness influences one’s own and others
view of each other. This is presumed to be conditional for the understanding of peace
as a result of cooperation.

C- Care: Desire of ages Chapter 35 reminds us that as Jesus rested by faith in the Father's care,
so we are to rest in the care of our Savior. If the disciples had trusted in Him, they would have
been kept in peace. Their fear in the time of danger revealed their unbelief. In their efforts to
save themselves, they forgot Jesus; and it was only when, in despair of self-dependence, they
turned to Him that He could give them help.

E- Equality: Ellen White wrote in the book of What Wondrous Love page 75, that “God
demonstrate His fairness before the universe, the plan of salvation has firmly fixed in the
foundation of unselfish love with its covenant relationships.”
