“CHANGE THE FUTURE WITH DIGITAL ECONOMY TO REACH SUSTAINABLE

DEVELOPMENT GOALS (SDGs) 2030”

Good morning ladies and gentleman

First I would like to express my gratitude to the juricates, for being able to give me the
opportunity and the honour to be presenting my speech for you this morning. I’m Putu Feby
Ishikadewi the representative from Soverdi Senior High School. In this occasion, I would like to
deliver my speech, with the title “Change the Future with Digital Economy to Reach Sustainable
Development Goals (SDGs) 2030”.

Ladies and gentlemen, let me start with the question. Do you know what digital economy
is? The digital economy refers to an economy based on digital computing technology, although
we increasingly regard this as doing business through an internet-based market. Now we are in
the digital era, which all of us use internet and gadget as one of important things.

Ladies and gentleman, Indonesia is a development country so that without knowing it

we can absorb everything that goes into this country. And we must belongs to this era even
though sometimes we find any difficult things to operate our gadget because without it we can’t
being a part of digital economy era. Many e-commerce that already exists such as Bukalapak,
Shopee, Tokopedia, Blibli.com, Lazada and many more that I can’t mention in this occasion. In
this part I by myself more interesting to explain about Lazada.

Ladies and gentleman, If we usually have to shop offline or go straight to the store,
now it is not necessary because now is the digital era. Lazada is an online shop that sells almost
all of our needs. Many people who have used Lazada as the preferred application and it’s easy to
use. If you buy goods, just click on it and wait for the item you bought to arrive at home. Pay is
also easy, can be directly or via banking, just choose one that you think you prefer. You don't
need to waste your time and energy if you want to buy something.

Ladies and gentleman, If you ask “what about people who live in the countryside?” So
we expand digital development so that all societies can be covered by digital economics. Digital
economy can be interpreted as a rose, has many thorns but is very beautiful to look at. The
purpose of the saying is that there are many shortcomings or disadvantages but have advantages
that we can enjoy. As I have said before it is easy to use, saves energy and also time, and various
industries are growing rapidly.

Digital economy also has a disadvantage that we can feel as if the goods we buy cannot
be exchanged, or the goods sent do not match what we ordered, we can be deceived, make
people being lazy, have a dependence on gadgets, and difficult for socialization.

Ladies and gentleman, Not only we can become customers in the digital economy, but
we can also become our own online business people. We can start from surveying what is needed
by the surrounding community including those in the countryside. Then we can make our own e-
commerce or web to enter our online business page. Not only sell goods that are on the market
but we can also sell the items that we make by ourselves. So you have a side job in the form of
an online business and can add to our own pocket money. And not a few are also successful
online businesses.

Ladies and gentleman, so the conclusion is that we must be wise in addressing this
digital era and also digital economics. If you want to start doing digital online there is no need to
fear because there are many benefits that we can get by doing digital economy. And with this
digital economy we can turn the future into a development goals.

Ladies and gentleman, I’m finished my speech about “Change the Future with Digital
Economy to Reach Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 2030”. I do apologies for any
