JLL Partners – Investor Relations / Marketing Associate

FIRM: JLL Partners (“JLL” or the “Firm”) is a leading middle-market private equity firm with a 31-year track record
of making control investments in the middle market. Since its founding in 1988, JLL has committed approximately
$5 billion across seven funds, focused predominately on the healthcare, industrials and services sectors. The Firm is
currently raising its eighth fund. JLL is headquartered in New York.

ROLE: JLL is seeking an Investor Relations / Marketing Associate to support its Investor Relations / Marketing
(“IR”) team. This individual will join the existing 1.5-person IR team.

We are looking for a self-motivated, extremely detail-oriented, analytical professional who has demonstrated the
ability to work under pressure, to manage multiple deadlines and is willing to provide hands on support to the IR team,
as well as strategize with senior professionals across the Firm. The Investor Relations Associate must share in our
best-in-class investor relations and compliance philosophy, which emphasizes prudence, accuracy and timeliness in
all internal and external communications.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
 Create / update fundraising materials including PPM, marketing presentation, due diligence requests, etc.
 Oversee the LP due diligence process and the preparation of sophisticated analyses to support investor due
diligence requests
o Compile timely and accurate client deliverables including DDQs, RFPs and various ad-hoc LP requests
o Collaborate closely with investment, accounting and compliance teams to coordinate responses to
requests from LPs
o Maintain data room throughout fundraise
 Manage investor information and maintain meeting / call notes in CRM system
 Produce update materials for existing LPs including quarterly reports, performance updates and annual meeting
materials
 Develop and maintain excellent relationships with both existing and prospective LPs. The Investor Relations
Associate will be asked to represent JLL directly to LPs / prospective LPs, particularly as this individual gains
more experience and content depth

REQUIREMENTS:
 2 – 4+ years of relevant experience
 Self-motivated individual with meticulous attention to detail, positive attitude and a pro-active approach to work
 Excellent communication and presentation skills (both written and verbal)
 Ability to multi task, prioritize and work well with others in a fast-paced environment under tight deadlines
 Strong interpersonal skills, ability to build relationships with professionals across the Firm and with LPs
 Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including strong proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
o Experience managing / maintaining a CRM is a plus
