Records:
If you choose to record and save your motor test data (Amp draw, RPM, etc.) in the “Motor Run In” mode,
you may access it at anytime by returning to the main menu and selecting “4. Records”. You may then scroll
through the saved data for each motor you have tested by using the “UP” and “DOWN” keys.
Features:
• Fully Programmable “AutoRun” Mode:
Simulates the variable voltage input a motor sees when being run on the racetrack. Effectively breaks in
your motor without the worry of it over-heating. You can quickly and easily program the minimum and
maximum voltages (0 – 8.00V) along with the ramp up/down delay, the running time (1-99mins.), the delay
time (1-99mins.), and the number of cycles (1-99).
• Constant Voltage “Motor Run In” Mode:
Runs your motor continuously at a constant voltage which you specify (0.01V – 8.00V). Great for just
“buzzing up” motors (checking their rotation), breaking them in when your in a hurry, or for powering any of
your accessories (such as comm lathes, battery/motor coolers, etc).
• Programmable "Condition Run In" Mode:
Automatically runs your motor until the brushes have broken in to the predetermined condition which you
specify. The condition of the commutator/brushes is indicated by a reference number (1-60), the lower the
number, the less arching and the better the brush contact with the commutator.
• To check the performance of your motor, you may view the Amp draw and RPM (when connected to the
Trinity Products Inc., 36 Meridian Rd., Edison, NJ 08820 included stand/sensor) during any of the modes.

“Motor Run In” mode. You may save the data for as long as you would like and delete it at any time.
Operation: 2. Motor Run In Mode:
Begin by first connecting the input lead wires coming out of This mode runs your motor continuously at a constant voltage which you specify (0.01V – 8.00V). Great for
the back of your Monster Machine case to your 12V power just “buzzing up” motors (checking their rotation), breaking them in when your in a hurry, or for powering any
supply (or 12V car battery). Please note: These lead wires of your accessories (such as comm lathes, battery/motor coolers, etc). You may also record and save your
are marked “INPUT” in small print at the top edge of the
case. DO NOT ever connect the output lead wires marked
data (including the Amp draw and RPM) for up to 12 motors with this mode.
“MOTOR POWER” to any type of power supply or battery.
These must ONLY be connected to the motor which you will
be powering/testing.
Next plug the motor testing stand connector into the square 8
slot in the left side of the case. Place the motor you would
like to break-in or test into the motor stand and snug down
the clamp to securely hold the motor in place. If you plan to
check the RPM of the motor, also install the RPM sensor
onto the end of your motor shaft by tightening up the
included set screw. Please note: The end of the sensor
should align with the “eye” in the aluminum base.
If you have not already done so, you may now connect the
output lead wires marked “MOTOR POWER” to the motor
you are ready to test or break-in.
The “MENU PAGE” shown to the right is what you should
see on the LCD display screen. Using the “up” or “down”
buttons, move the cursor to the number of the selection you
would like to make, and press enter.
Now proceed to the section heading of the selection you just
made to continue with the step-by-step instructions of the
mode you have chosen.
