Šabac

Šabac is my hometown. It's situated in West Serbia, on the banks of the river Sava one of the longest and
most beautiful rivers in East Europa. On the bank on river Sava there is Šabac Fortress which was built in
1471. In Šabac the Sava River is the widest in its course. The geographical location of the town is very
favourable, because it is situated at important traffic routes (road, rail and river transport). Šabac is one
of the most developed cities in Serbia.

The most famous manifestation in Šabac is "Šabačka čivijada" festival of humour and laughs.

The streets in our city are very wide and clean, but full of traffic. Šabac also has a wonderful square in the
in the city centre and the most beautiful promenade in Serbia.

For me Šabac is the most beautiful town in the world and I fill as the happiest men in the world.
