Hi Everyone,

I want to summarise this after a wider investigation. As far as I know the problem was generated by
Brink after a modification made of an early version sent to them [see Point 3]. At some step we missed
that file so I kept working on the original file [see Point 1 and 2] without knowing the problem. I also
think it is a big mistake not to double check the file at time. Anyway we are working all together as
people from Brink are also working on a solution for this to get it solved ASAP.

In case you need more information about this:

Point 1. This is the Tub I designed before any review, you can find it in this folder:
G:\Project\2017\17-0045-P 500ML REC TUB\cad

File name: PD-10209-10-11-12_FS0500_Rec_Tub.sldprt

Latest date of modification: 08/10/2018

As you can see in the pictures there is no interference between tubs when stacking, of course the
area where the top tub rests can be improved but nothing else a part from that.

Please have an eye on tree of commands at the left, see how the design is developed from scratch
that means no imported parts.
Point 2. This is the Tub after reviewing it with Richard, we normally create a subfolder called DFM
[design for manufacturing] with all the modifications and small details solved to get the file ready for
manufacture: G:\Project\2017\17-0045-P 500ML REC TUB\cad\DFM

File name: PD-10209-10-11-12_FS0500_Rec_Tub and Lid.sldprt

Latest date of modification: 19/10/2018

As you can see in the pictures there is no interference between tubs when stacking, this time the
resting area has been improved.

Again, please have an eye on tree of commands at the left, see how the design is developed from
scratch that means no imported parts.
Point 3. This is a modification made by Brink from an early version of the tub: G:\Project\2017\17-
0045-P 500ML REC TUB\brink

File name: PD-10209_FS0500_Rec_Tub_v2.stp

Latest date of modification: 04/09/2018

Now you can see there is an interference between tubs.

Again, please have an eye on at the left side, see now how there is no any tree of commands and
notice the green arrow indicating the model has been imported from a no-native SolidWorks file.
This is an email received by Richadr from Brink with all the modifications made to the tub, I think it
can confirm the origin of the issue.
Regards
