As mentioned in the previous session, you have been assigned a group task in order to familiarize

you with the asset management sector in Pakistan. Accordingly, each group is assigned a pair of
mutual funds (based in Pakistan) and is required to answer the following questions in Word
processed format. Both funds in the pair belong to the same fund category e.g. equity, money
market, Income funds, fund of funds etc. The questions are as follows:

1. Identify and describe the type of investor that would be interested in investing in these
funds? (hint: look at the fund category and identify the type of investors (in terms of their
investment horizon, risk tolerance, etc) it would appeal to. Also comment on specific fund
features such as fees and expenses in responding to the question.)
2. Which of the two funds would you recommend to the investor? (hint: Base your answer on
the risk adjusted performance and other features of the fund and how well it matches the
investor’s objectives).

Apart from this, you must also attach the latest factsheet of each fund with your assignment.
