Topic/Lesson

1. Difficult Concepts (What concepts did you find difficult to understand?)

i. Cultural Theories
i. General Self-Disclosure Versus Self Communication
ii. Characteristics of the Relationship and Sexual Disclosure
2. Insights (What new insights or learnings did you gain in discussion/ activity?)

i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought

That men are more self disclosure with everything they want to talk about.
And also i thought that women were more less to self-disclose. Before I also
thought that it is all about the culture that you were adapted.
However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize
Almost all of the women were more often to self-disclose, also culture norms
also shape both men and women on how comfortable they can be in
disclosing.
ii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought
of the same way as i finished reading the article, but it was not that clear to
me. Also I did not understand some topics.
However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize
that self-disclosure has a large part of a human being communication.
The people who has lower sociosexuality are the people who were more less
to self-disclose. There were also research that has been made in order to
determine who's more to self- disclose.
iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought
of almost the same way as i finished reading the articles, that sex were more
important to those people who are in a romantic relationship. I also had
difficulty to understand some topics.
However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize
when I read the articles I found out that the longer a person is in a
relationship, they are more open and also the more they get to talk about
sexual topics. Also sex is the most important component in a romantic
relationship.
