Jerry Hall
Stadium Manager, Tempe Diablo Stadium
2200 W. Alameda Drive
Tempe, AZ 85282
I am applying for the Diablo Stadium student internship in the Spring of 2020. I am currently
finishing up my final semester at Washington State University and will graduate in May with a
Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management with a minor in Business and Communication. I feel that
my experience working within operations of university athletics have provided me with the
qualities that you are looking for in an intern.
I have worked for the WSU Men’s Basketball Team over the past three seasons as a student
manager, working closely with the director of operations. I have taken on many responsibilities
within the program, including practice scheduling, meal planning, recruiting letters, and much
more. I observed what it takes to prepare for a home game from a coaching staff perspective and
the tasks that are involved. In the upcoming months, I will be planning, coordinating, and executing
a fundraising event with a group of students to raise money for the Ronald McDonald House.
I have worked as a summer camp coach over the past three years with various organizations,
including the Golden State Warriors, in which I was in charge of planning activities and organizing
the schedules in the greater San Francisco area. Working with children can be a challenge, but I
felt that I gave the kids a great experience during their week of camp through enhancing their sport
and life skills.
For more detailed information, please take a look at my attached resume. I look forward to hearing
from you about the Diablo Stadium student internship at your earliest convenience. I can be
contacted at Adam.kahan@wsu.edu or at (916) 960-9480.
