Pilot Valve (Joystick) - Install

Installation Procedure
Note: The installation procedure is similar for both pilot valves. The following procedure is used to install
the left pilot valve.

1. Position the pilot valve (8). Connect the hose assemblies (10). Install the screws (7). Connect the
harness assemblies (9).

2. Install the cover (4). Install the screws (1). Install the screws on the back of the cover. Install the cover
(5). Install the covers (6) and (2). Install the protector (3).

3. Check the oil level in the hydraulic oil tank. Fill the hydraulic oil tank with oil to the correct level.
Refer to the Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Lubricating Viscosities", for correct oil viscosity,
and Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Hydraulic System Oil Level - Check", for the correct filling
procedure.
