    The turbocharger on the GE13TD engine series produced from July 2005 onwards has been modified for improved reliability. Specifically, the material of the compressor wheel has been changed from a casting to a forging. The new turbocharger part number is 14201-00Z0D and can be substituted for the older 14201-00Z61 part number, but the older part cannot be substituted for the new one. Technicians should contact the parts department when ordering spare parts as other part numbers may have also changed.
