Background: Patientchronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis who raises
stress response varied reception. Stress can interfere with the way the patient
in solving problems, thinking in general, and the person's relationship and
sense of belonging. Measures to reduce the stress that can be done is to use
a technique relaksi, because effectively reduce and prevent the psychological
effects of stress.
Aim: Knowing Effect of Benson Relaxation Therapy Against Chronic Renal
Failure Patients Stress DI Lounge Mataram City Hospital Hemodialysis 2019
Method: The study design quasy Experiment with Non-Equivalent Control
Group design. The population of subjects in this study are patients with chronic
renal failure undergoing Hemodialysis. Sampling this study using purposive
sampling and obtained 30 samples.
Results: This study shows that before therapy benson the control and
intervention group had severe stress levels as much as 15 respondents
(100%). after given benson relaxation therapy in the intervention group had
mild stress levels as much as 14 respondents (93%), severe stress as much
as 1 respondents (7%), in the untreated control group suffered severe stress
levels of 15 respondents (100%). The results showed ρ = 0.000.
Conclusion: There is the influence of Benson Relaxation therapy against
stress levels in patients with chronic renal failure undergoing hemodialysis.
Suggestion: In order for the health agencies use benson relaxation therapy to
patients with renal failure who are undergoing Hemodialysis Kornik.
